Marinated Octopus vs Snail Farming

My plans for today were cancelled last minute, so I was left wandering what to do with my time. After much deliberation it was decided that the local snail farm was the place to go. Yes, snail farm. I didn't know it even existed until today when a quick internet search revealed it. Apparently the snails are 'happy to be handled' and you can learn all about the history of farming small, slimy, molluscs! Alas, as it turned out the farm was closed today so I ended up at Faversham farm shop instead. There I found marinated octopus, which was nearly as fulfilling an experience as visiting a snail farm.
