More nothing...
Well, I did some work, I ate some toast, and I listened to some music. I also ate some frozen meatballs by accident because I hadn't defrosted them properly so we'll know what's happened if I'm ill tomorrow!

I braved the outdoors...
Woke up feeling terrible today but come lunchtime, having missed my lectures, I felt a breath of fresh air would be good. So the highlight of my day was a trip to tescos to buy an inhaler. When I got there I saw a man walking round with a trolly reducing things, so naturally I followed him round the whole shop... I came away with 33p tortellini, 22p salami, and 20p fresh juice. And then a quick starbucks before back to bed!

Oh dear, Alex is in the kitchen...
Every now and then I go through a phase of cooking things from scratch and attempting to be healthy. One of those phases started a few days ago now, but today was particularly spectacular. I've got the beginnings of what promises to be a terrible cold, so I've been sitting around feeling sorry for myself for most of the day... But there came a time when I decided that food was necessary, and rather than sit down and actually make some kind of vague plan for what I was going to make I just went to the fridge and shoved EVERYTHING in a dish, bunged it in the oven for an hour and voila. I have NO IDEA what it tasted like, which is probably a very good thing, as I seem to have lost my senses of taste and smell. So what was this exactly? Well, there's a tuna steak, some lentils, some coriander, spinach, carrots, peas and left over soup among various other things. Unfortunetly it looked like sick, I ate it anyway.

Nothing...
Nothing to report. I haven't been wearing my usual onsie today, Christmas onsie number 2 has made an appearance!

Oh starry night!
Tonight as I walked home after a night of monopoly at a friend's house, I saw the starts for the first time ever in Hull. Maybe it's just because I've never looked before, but they were all there; Orian's Belt, the saucepan, the holy goat, the pyramid... Or whatever they're called! I was walking in the direction of Orian's Belt to get home - it seems somewhat ironic that I followed a star to arrive at my final destination on the night leading into Advent. And now, here I sit, in my newly decorated room, in eager anticipation for the first Christmas carol to come on to Classic FM. I'm sure I won't be waiting long.

A long, long day
Today has been my longest day of the year, and I probably won't ever have a day as hectic again in my degree! 7 hours of university, and I was totally prepared for ALL of it, and even got to my first seminar (at 9am) half an hour early! Unheard of!!! I powered through and even had the energy to go to town after to get some new trousers. A VERY productive day (I've even decorated my bedroom for Christmas!). I've finished editing my pics from Manchester Christmas market and this is probably my favourite! Plus, the man on this stall gave me some very tasty serrano ham to try!
